I am very happy we caught him it feels like closure for what he did on 9/11. What he did was one of the most  terrifying days of american history i remeber i  stayed home that day and watched it on the tv while my mom was pacing around my house trying to get a hold of my grandfather who had frequent meetings i remeber the speach bush gave about how we need to find the terriorists and now we have done just that.  I think that this will hurt alkida but will also provoke them to try to hurt us. i also think that it will put a little fear factor in because if we caught him we can catch and kill any of those pieces of poop i also liked the speech obama gave but it was interesting how he adressed that we r not fighting islam something i dont know what to think of cause many people think racism ended long ago but we americans think of islamic people as terriorists for example my grandfather was in the oil buissness and there were pictures of him shakeing hands with islamic people with thoes turbans on their heads and i asked my mom why my grandfather was shakeing hands with a terrorist not knowing any better it is just the way they are persived in this county and i think it is interesting. but i think that today in this day and age i think it is a little sad that he has to adress that it should just go without saying. but an event like this really unifies a country and for alot of the days after 9 11 we were really unified as a country the aproval rate for bush was unreal and like you said the congressmen went out side and sang a song together that kind of thing does not just happen normally in this country i also am curious to know the name of the navy seal that shot bin Ladin all in all this is a very good day for america we took the head off the snake of terriorism we killed the world symbol of terrorism but i hope every american embasy should be on high alert because there almost surely will be attackes on them it is inevitable i am also pretty pissed off at how pakastan more than likely knew he was their and did not tip us off i think we should start a fight with them because that is absolutly rediculous any country that harbors a terriorist should be taught a lesson and i also think that the united states should adress that somehow well that is all

Night Maus Blog

I think that these books should not be read together because they are to similar. I like the book night because it is intense and the book is in great detail and really helps you get a feel for the holocaust. You  get to read about all the horror and its not censored it really shows what the holocaust was. I thought that maus was boring i thought that the fact that is was being told by mice was stupid. I didn't like how the author or the kid writing all the information the dad says because its more distant in the way that the author is retelling a story rather then just telling it. I feel that the comics where distracting and it was pointless to read i thought it was a waste of my time. In the future i would only read night because a the book is good and B the holocaust thing really needs to be read about. Another thing i would say is you should watch the opera video because i think it really gives a good visual of the camp and what it was like.

1. When the best fighter in there group died and the man was crying it really showed how much they cared about each other kinda like when Brew died. They were so sad but they had to keep fighting so it seemed more real to me rather then just reading the words on a paige.
2. When the men in the company honored the day restrpo died by nameing the outpost in his name and lighting of flares on the aniverary of his death showes the compation that perrys company had for brew when they celabrated his birthday.
3. When Perry didnt really tell kenny or his mom what the war is actualy about the horors or death that goes on kinda like when that one guys freind died and it was about to be his moms birthday so he just told her everything was fine.
4. The fire fights were so real in the movie and it really helped illstrate the intensaty of it. It really gives me a visual adn helped me understand what it was like.
5. When the man said hours of waiting around seconds of terror. In the movie on of the guys talks about how bored he is but then later he is going on rock avalanch and he was as scared as a little kid watching a horor film.
6. WHen pewwee is alwasye insulting people and telling them that they are not man enough to have jock itch. When they call a guy a b***, or give guys a hard time its the same thing.
7. When they were in the guys are in the outpost trying to kill that guy and then they are shoting get some get some it relates to when perry unloaded a clip in the congs face cause seince the enemy is trying to kill them it gets personal.
8. When the 3 soildgers are haveing a dance party it showes how close they are and even though there in war there togetherness is still haveing fun. When the guys are just sitting talking in the houch it showes how together they are and its very simmaler to the danceing soligers.
9. When they were tlaking about  hwo ethey lost a soldiger on the heleacopter ride to the hospital it was like when the flalen agels guys lost brew while they were flying in the helecopter.
10. When the guys were talking about how they wanted to get back and what they were gonna do in the world as they called it kinda related to the guys when he was like 2 months from now we will all be hiome it was a simalairty in the senice they were all talking about how they wanted to go home
